Fairie Monoprints

Elizabeth’s dramatic fairie prints are inspired by the outsider artist, Richard Dadd, who in the 1840’s was inspired by visions to record the magical creatures that he saw.  The fairie collection represents a collection of unique fairies with almost angel-like forms; their tranlucence, mysteriousness and their gracefullness shing through to inspire and protect.

The use of monoprinting techniques seek to capture the movement and dramatic nature of their forms and to provide a dynamic narrative of their environments.
